Two teenagers have recently been arrested over their suspected involvement in a case of armed robbery along Upper Jurong Road on Jan 16.
The robbery took place at 12.25am, where a 29-year-old man was held at knifepoint by two male subjects, aged 18 and 19, who took off with his mobile phones.
Officers from Jurong Police Division conducted extensive follow up investigations and established the identities of the two suspects. They were arrested in the vicinity of Tah Ching Road two days ago.
If convicted for the offence of armed robbery, they may face an imprisonment term of up to 10 years and up to 12 strokes of the cane.
