Local actress Joanne Peh's dropped yet another tasty tidbit about her personal life: she's very much into the idea of posing pregnant... and naked.
Peh announced Wednesday (Jan. 28) she was expecting a baby she made with Chinese actor Qi Yuwu, whom she married in a very private wedding last year.
The couple's been in the spotlight ever since they announced their relationship in 2012, taking many by surprise. "I have thought of doing it before, it's a good idea," Peh told The New Paper. "When a woman is pregnant, her body is in a good and ideal state to do this kind of photoshoot."
Peh was probably inspired by Fann Wong's photoshoot for Marie France Bodyline, which featured the top actress, eight months pregnant, in the nude with only a piece of blue cloth wrapped around her privates.
According to TNP, soon-to-be daddy Qi doesn't want to reveal where the baby was conceived, but says it was definitely not in Batam, where the couple had been shooting 1965, a period film meant for the SG50 celebration. It was there that they found out about Peh's pregnancy. "I didn't tear but I was very happy and excited," he said.
