Google's managing director for Southeast Asia Julian Persaud is taking on a new role in AirBnb, Mumbrella reports.
The marketing site says Persaud had worked 10 years with Google starting as head of business development in Australia, after driving search operations in Overture (now Yahoo).
He's been based in Singapore leading the company's regional operations since 2009.
Airbnb, which set up office in Singapore in 2012, hasn't commented on the move, though Google has confirmed Persaud's departure.
