HOT FM 91.3 has apparently rebranded itself into a radio station that targets men aged 30 and above: ONE FM.
Operated by SPH Radio, the station's music direction is now fine-tuned to what they call "real music"— which are actually standard rock 'n' roll tunes by the likes of AC/DC, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, U2 and more.
ONE FM looks to be the counterpart to Kiss92, an SPH radio station that targets the female market.
According to AsiaOne, the roster of radio jockeys remain unchanged, although their slots have been reshuffled. Kiss92's Melody Chen and Desiree Lai have been brought in as new voices in the new station's operations.
Popular columnist and writer Neil Humphreys will also be jumping into the fray in a weekly slot every Friday to talk about upcoming English Premier League matches for the weekend. "I can promise listeners that I will give them the world's worst EPL predictions", Humphrey remarks to The New Paper.
Kudos to them for keeping strong while the radio broadcasting industry slowly withers away in an age of instant music streaming, easily available without the dithering of advertisements and talkshows.
