![Goat-themed stamps trot into Singapore post offices in time for Lunar New Year]()
SingPost today released its Zodiac Goat stamp issue to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
It's the eighth out of 12 sets of stamps in SingPost's second zodiac stamp series since 2008.
The illustrations were done by local creative director Mr. Leo Teck Chong, who based them on the concept of "roundness", which signifies fullness, wealth and prosperity.
The colourful stamps come in three dominations: 1st Local ($0.70) and $1.30.
Also on sale are the Pre-cancelled First Day Cover affixed with the complete set of stamps ($3.10), the Presentation Pack ($4.05) and the 1st Local self-adhesive sheetlet ($3).
All First Day Covers will be cancelled with a special Zodiac Goat postmark.
Collectors can invest in the $16.80 limited edition sheet, which uses offset lithography with a mixture of shiny varnish and silver ink.
You can buy the stamp products of this issue at all post offices, at the Singapore Philatelic museum or online.
