![Local prog-rock extraordinaires The Psalms set to launch debut full-length record this weekend]()
Revered local experimental rock outfit The Psalms have been blowing minds with their razor sharp approach to progressive noise-rock and highly confrontational sounds since 2006, but it's only nine years later that we are finally getting a full-length studio album from the talented quintet.
The Psalms will be bringing their bewitching poetic chaos to the waterfront stages of the Esplanade this Saturday at the venue's outdoor theatre with three sets of live performances to unleash their highly anticipated debut album People Eating People; a record that promises to solidify their roles as one of the most technically innovative music acts to come out of the country.
Fresh from their first Indonesian tour with fellow sonic spacemen This Is Atlantis, the quintet are more than ready to scorch the souls of audiences once again at the Esplanade with the expectation of a high-octane show that is both visceral and unrelenting.
Catch The Psalms live the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre on Jan 10 from 7.30pm to 8.15pm, 8.45pm to 9.30pm and 10pm to 10.45pm. More details can be found on the Esplanade event website.
