Police have arrested a 59-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty on board a public bus.
At about 3:48pm on Nov. 21, 2014, a 23-year-old woman filed a police report on the man, whom she said had molested her in a bus travelling towards Ang Mo Kio bus interchange.
Officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division and the Public Transport Security Command conducted ground enquiries and studied CCTV footage to establish the suspect's identity.
He was arrested yesterday (Jan. 6).
The suspect will be charged in court on Jan. 8. If convicted, he may be jailed up to two years and/or fined.
