An elderly pedestrian was unfortunately involved in an accident last Friday that left him in a coma.
The accident between a car and a TransCab taxi occurred at the junction of Lower Delta Road and Tiong Bahru Road, where the taxi spun out of control and hit a lamp post, The New Paper reports. The impact of the collision left the front bonnets and bumpers of both cars severely damaged.

The taxi passengers — two adults and a child — and the car driver appeared to be in shock after the collision.
The accident also left a pedestrian in his 80s to sustain head injuries and a fractured arm. His condition later became critical at the Singapore General Hospital and he fell into a coma soon after.
