![Six-course MOFO Chili pop-up dinner happening next weekend]()
Some people say excess chilli can take away the essence of a recipe, even ruin one's palate, but we can't help it.
For many of us living in Asia, particularly Indonesians, chilli is as much the staple of a meal as rice.
If you agree, listen up — the folks at homegrown maker MOFO Chili is putting together a pop-up dinner at the former Broadcast HQ space that's completely soaked in the spicy superfood.
The six-course MOFO Spicy Omakaze pop-up, slated for Jan. 18 at 7pm, will feature Sulawesi-inspired dishes by cooking duo Thibault and Foi served communal style.
Among them are chicken reggae, garo rica squid and cakalang, a Mandonese delicacy of shredded and smoked skipjack tuna.
Tickets are $60 each inclusive of one drink.
