An all-day party at an abandoned swimming pool complex, what could go wrong?
Harking back to the golden days of rave takeovers, the folks from Red Bull Music Academy have joined forces with the party people of Super 0 to bring you Super 0 Openair, a pop-up boutique festival promising an all day cultural bonanza with complete with live music, art installations, theatre productions and more. Forget the usual festival locales of Fort Canning, Zouk and Gardens by the Bay — this time the party's happening at the abandoned premises of the former SIA Changi Sports Club.
It looks to be an ambitiously exciting event that's completely off the grid, with performances by Swedish ambient house extraordinaire The Field in a live set, along with the likes of left-field hip-hop heiress TOKiMONSTA, veteran dance DJ Tim Sweeney and many other electronic outfits to be dead excited about.
Not content with the aural treats throughout the whole day, the festival will also be offering various other pop-up installations such as a photography exhibition with the works of Parisian photographer David Ledoux, a theatre vignette by stage troupe Pangdemonium!, and even a record shop curated and set up by Curated Records. There is practically nothing to be bored about at the festival because there's just so many things to experience and explore.
Tickets to Super 0 Openair 2015 are available online at Eventclique at $65, $75 and $90 — stay updated on the Facebook event page.
