The 37-year-old man arrested for the murder of a woman at Tampines Central 1 was charged today, at the Changi General Hospital.
The suspect and the victim — believed to be a couple from China — were having a heated argument in the three-bedroom flat at Block 503, where they were staying with seven other tenants.The man then left the house reportedly carrying a knife wrapped in cloth, leaving the woman's lifeless body in one of the bedrooms.
He was later arrested bleeding profusely on the ninth floor of Block 505, about 30 metres away from the scene of the crime.
