Cecilia Cheung likes Singapore so much she talks about it even while in Hong Kong, a city that basically puts food on the table for her.
According to the Ming Pao Daily News, the 34-year-old actress and mother of two said in a radio interview that she liked the government's education policies, good air and "simple" people.
Earlier this year, Cheung confessed she liked that the paparazzi culture here was not as intense as that in Hong Kong and China, which meant she could offer her sons, four-year-old Quintus and seven-year-old Lucas, a 'normal' life.
In the radio interview, Cheung also said Singapore put her in close proximity with her work, and the kids with their father, her ex-husband Nicholas Tse.
She said as an emotional person, she often feels touched by the gestures of the people in Singapore, such as when taxi drivers ask about her well-being and even when she goes grocery shopping and someone gives her extra spring onion.
Cheung is currently working on films and reality TV shows in China.
