Last week, kind passerby Florence Tan heard a cat mewing for help and discovered it stuck in a sewer filled with water.
Working in the rain, Tan enlisted the help of a group of construction workers, one of whom climbed into the sewer and fished the cat out of the water. Another worker received the cat in a traffic cone and brought it to dry land, after which it bounded out (in fear? gratitude?) and hurried away.
