Changi Village in the far east side of Singapore is an underrated place.
Its lush greenery and open concept mean it's a real contender for places like Dempsey and Tanjong Pagar. The fact that most of the area is ground level and its proximity to the beach are two other things that count for its feasibility as a lifestyle destination.
But for the longest time, Changi Village was only frequented by hungry residents and tranvestites looking for a spot of work.
Recent developments look set to change that.
