44-year-old restaurant owner Tan Suan Lee was charged today for selling liquor without a valid licence in the proclaimed area of Little India.
Prata City, which is located at 145 Jalan Besar, came under inspection on Dec. 22 when police officers discovered customers were being served alcohol there despite the eatery not having a liquor sale licence.
According to TODAY, 32 individuals have been issued advisories for drinking in the proclaimed area during prohibited times.
If found guilty, Tan faces a fine of up to $5,000.
