EZ-Link Pte Ltd have announced in a press release that they’ll be extending their giveaway campaign to March 31 next year to give commuters more time to swap their old cards for new ones at no charge.
The giveaway campaign has been extended due to the massive influx of commuters who may be travelling during the year-end holiday season. The company has set manufactured more than a million cards for the entire giveaway campaign.
EZ-Reload customers will receive their free cards via mail before the expiry dates, while PAssion ez-link card holders and bank co-brand credit or debit card holders with ez-link functions will be contacted by the respective banks and issuing organizations.
Commuters unsure of their ez-link card’s expiry dates can check their eligibility for exchange through General Ticketing Machines, AXS machines, passenger service counters and their website.
