Local artist Ivan Hoo has been making waves across the world lately with his plywood drawings.
His observational art, spanning everyday things like an open bottle of Nutella (top photo) and a box of matches, has been featured on international platforms like Daily Mail, The Huffington Post and RocketNews24 due to its hyper real nature.

According to his shares on social media, Hoo uses a variety of drawing tools for his wood panels, including Derwent pastel pencils, soft pastel, graphite and tinted charcoal.
