It looks to be a glorious return to the centre stage for Singapore’s foremost post-hardcore sons Caracal, who’ll be launching their long-anticipated sophomore studio album Welcome The Ironists on Dec. 18.
Eight years strong into their formation, the quartet have consistently enraptured fans across Asia and beyond with soaring harmonies, colossal riffs, visceral drive and beastly live performances to boot. With the release of their lead single and title track off their new studio LP, Caracal prove once again why they’re the forerunners of Singapore’s post-hardcore and alternative rock arena.
Welcome The Ironists also marks a returning collaboration with Singapore’s leading music producer and sound engineer, Leonard Soosay of Snakeweed Studios, while the album’s mastering duties were handled in Canada by João Carvalho, who’s worked with fellow hard-hitters Death From Above 1979 and more.
