Singaporean tourists were involved in yet another accident in Hokkaido yesterday, where a bus ferrying 16 citizens skidded off a highway, leaving the passengers in hospital.
Channel NewsAsia reports that the bus slipped off Hokkaido Shimukappu highway around 11.30am, due to a intermittent snowstorm that froze the roads. Japanese police have categorized the case as a bus slip accident and will be investigating further. No casualties were reported.

Speaking to Channel NewsAsia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have assured that the Singaporeans on board the tour bus have been treated for light injuries and have been safely discharged from the hospitals.
