House of Horrors: AMK woman absolutely butchers her mother before jumping to her death A grisly find earlier in June that saw the deaths of two women at Ang Mo Kio has taken a even grislier twist when coroners revealed yesterday that the elder of the two was found to be missing her eyeballs, parts of her tongue and right lung.  The body of 75-year-old Rosaline Lim was found with multiple stab wounds at a flat in Ang Mo Kio, while her daughter, 51-year-old Andrea Tay was found at the foot of the same block on June 5. The missing eyeballs and tongue were reportedly recovered the next day on a grass patch in the vicinity. The missing portion of her lungs have not been found.  TODAY reports the gruesome details revealed from the coroner’s inquiries yesterday, including the fact that Lim’s stab wounds are believed to have been inflicted on her after she had died.  Testimonies from the police officers that attended the case in June painted a bleak picture of the series of events. Upon entering the sixth-storey flat along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4, Lim’s body was already lying in a pool of blood in the living room, while Tay was seen standing in at the unlit kitchen. The appearance of the police drove Tay to climb through the window and plunge to her death, hitting a laundry rack on the way down, severing her legs at the knees.  Investigations revealed that Tay had attacked her mother with a knife and chopper before taking her own life.  The court also heard about Tay’s history of unsettling mental distress before her death, including extreme levels of paranoia, depression and claims of being cursed by black magic. Tay had refused to seek psychiatric treatment throughout.  State Coroner Marvin Bay will be delivering his findings on the women’s deaths on Wednesday.  Photo: Al Ibrahim via Flickr
