Police arrested a man earlier today for his involvement in a case of outrage of modesty in a lift.
A report was made on Nov. 25 a little after midnight, where police were alerted that a female victim had been molested in lift on the way home in the vicinity of Jalan Kayu. After conducting extensive ground enquiries and observing footage from CCTVs installed nearby, the suspect in question was identified as a 50-year-old man. He was promptly arrested near Trevose Crescent.
If found guilty, he will be punished with a jail term of up to three years and caning.
