Korean R&B singer Taeyang is performing in Singapore as part of his Rise world tour, which was announced yesterday in a 40-second spot on BIGBANG's YouTube channel.
Taeyang, otherwise known by his real name Dong Youngbae, was the first member of BIGBANG to release a solo album and stage his own concert in 2008.
The tour, which also includes China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, will take promotions for his second official album Rise international, though venues outside of Asia have not been announced.
Taeyang recently released "Good Boy" in collaboration with BIGBANG leader G-Dragon.
The date for the Singapore concert has not been set.
