Ladies, hold on to your knickers —former football icon David Beckham is returning to the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) this Saturday, and this time everyone’s invited to see him in the flesh.
Beckham will be ushering in the year-end festive season in the launch of the Festive Light-Up Event at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Skating Rink along with performances by Australia’s Got Talent finalist Clara Helms, the Kids Performing Academy of the Arts, and many more.
The event will see the integrated resort and various parts of MBS illuminated for the rest of the year.
Hopefully this time around he’ll be more gracious to the attention — the last time he was in town shooting a Prada commercial at Marina Bay Sands, he was reportedly not very happy being mobbed by the public and have pictures taken by The New Paper.
“The festive season has always been my favourite time of the year. I am so excited to be able to participate in the celebrations Marina Bay Sands has lined up for Singapore,” Beckham remarked. “I look forward to seeing everyone on 15 November at the Skating Rink at The Shoppes”.
