As many as 28 bicycles were stolen, and all by one man — police recently arrested a 35-year-old serial bike thief that has been plaguing the lives of bike owners across Singapore for over a year.
Police carried out investigations in light of at least 28 cases of bicycle theft reported from September last year to October this year. They identified the suspect with the aid of CCTV footage and extensive ground enquiries.
In the morning of Nov. 8, officers conduced a joint operation and arrested the man at the vicinity of New Upper Changi Road. A cutter and spanner was found on him and seized during arrest.
If convicted, he may be punished with imprisonment of up to three years and/or a fine.
So many questions though — where does he keep all those bicycles and what does he do with all of them?
