A 34-year-old man has been arrested for suspected involvement in a case of armed robbery at River Valley Road.
Police were notified of the robbery a day after it occurred on Nov. 3 at about 9:10pm.
The suspect is believed to have threatened a 29-year-old female victim with a knife after she had provided him with massage services, as well as another female masseur at the location. He is also thought to have run off with cash, mobile phones and travel documents, and molested one of the victims.
He was identified by officers from the Tanglin Police Division, and was arrested on Nov. 5.
The suspect will be charged in court today for the offences of Armed Robbery and Outrage of Modesty. If convicted, he faces up to 14 years in jail and 24 strokes of the cane. Photo: Victor via Wylio
