DBS and POSB card-holders will now find it a lot more easier to make instant cash withdrawals with the announcement that their Cash-Point services are also available at all Guardian Health & Beauty and Sheng Shiong stores across Singapore.
Customers can now withdraw cash of up to $100 with any item purchase at all 140 Guardian stores and 30 Sheng Shiong outlets, in addition to the existing services at 7-Eleven shops.
According to DBS, the implementation of POSB Cast-Point services has seen strong traction with an increase of almost 50 percent in withdrawals made at 7-Eleven since the system was launched in July 2013.
“While we have seen increased usage of online banking and mobile payments, we also understand some of our customers do have cash needs and our physical banking touchpoints remain an important part of our network to fulfill these needs,” says Jeremy Soo, Managing Director and Head of Consumer Banking Group Singapore. “Over the years, through our strategic partnerships, we have increased our presence across Singapore to make banking even more convenient for our customers.”
