Steak, oysters and Japanese fusion: Three new restaurants for hip new CBD haunt Fifty Raffles PlaceChekkit: If you love hybrid spaces and high places, Fifty Raffles Place is where it's at.  The glass penthouse on levels 45 and 46 of the Singapore Land Tower is planning to throw open the doors of its three new restaurants in the next few months. Sear, described as a "modern American steak house", uses two of the renowned Pira charcoal ovens from Barcelona to ensure its signature cuts — distinguished by rich marbling — retain the natural grill flavours. Sear will be open for lunch and dinner, offering vintage wine and exclusive whiskeys.  Angie's Oyster Bar, which will open daily for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, of course serves fresh seasonal oysters, but also Cajun seafood like lobster, in a French-inspired setting.  Finally, the just recently named Teikoku (meaning "empire" in Japanese) offers a menu of Japanese inspired tapas paired with sake.  Angie's Oyster Bar and Sear are set to launch later in November, but Teikoku may only be ready for service next year.  If you'd like to pay a visit to Fifty Raffles Place now though, you can. The Empire ultra lounge is already open from 5pm. Altogether, Fifty Raffles Place take up about 17,000 sq. ft. of space at the top of the Singapore Land Tower.
