In less than 24 hours from the news about four loanshark harrassers being nabbed, the Singapore Police Force has yet again announced the arrest of another four.
On Oct. 28, officers from Chua Chu Kang Neighbourhood Police Centre nabbed a 40-year-old woman at North Bridge Road for assisting loanshark syndicates by performing fund transactions through the ATM cards and Personal Identification Numbers she collected from other debtors.
A mobile phone was seized during this operation.
Through follow-up investigations on the aforementioned case, officers captured a 39-year-old woman and 31-year-old man later that day.
Nine ATM cards, 32 pieces of ATM transaction receipts and two mobile phones were confiscated from the two suspects.
At 8pm on the same day, a 22-year-old debtor-turned-runner was arrested around Woodlands Square.
Four ATM cards, various ATM transaction receipts and a mobile phone were taken away for investigations.
All suspects will be charged in court today.
