According to TODAY, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow was here in Singapore to promote British Airways’ new A380 superjumbo flight to and fro London-Singapore.
In the campaign photo, the Hollywood A-lister looked impeccable in a dress by British designer Safiyaa, and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. She was pictured sitting in a Club World seat “floating” in the middle of Marina Bay Sands’ highly-raved infinity pool.
Before anyone calls out on the photo being photoshopped, British Airways regional general manager, Robert Willams only revealed that it actually took a skilled team to get the seat to appear like it’s floating.
“The real challenge though was how to get Gwyneth in to the seat without getting wet!” he added.
Williams described the 42-year-old star as a “perfect fit” for the campaign as she’s a frequent flier of the airline, and that it’s a lot of fun working with her.
Speaking about her experience here in the little red dot, she said, “I’ve really enjoyed exploring the city and trying the amazing variety of food on offer. There’s still so much that I want to visit here and I look forward to returning!”
Starting today, the A380 service will run three times a week between London and Singapore.
