$62,000 worth of drugs seized in last week's CNB operationsA total of 105 suspected drug offenders were arrested in two separate operations launched by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) from Oct. 14 – 17. In the second operation on Oct. 16, officers nabbed a 20-year-old female Malaysian at Woodlands Checkpoint. 460g of heroin and 50g of ‘Ice’ was confiscated from her possession. The police followed up the arrest with another operation to capture the intended recipients of the drug haul. A 24-year-old male Malaysian and four Singaporeans were detained. CNB officers found another 80g of heroin, 20g of ‘Ice’, 340 Ermin-5 tablets, 64 ‘Ecstasy’ tablets and drug smoking equipment. Investigations are still on-going.
