Commuters onboard a train heading towards Tanah Merah MRT station on Wednesday witnessed a horrifying scene of a woman hitting her son with an umbrella until the handle broke.
Priscilla, member of the online citizen journalism portal Stomp, posted an 11-second video of a lady unrestrainedly whacking a boy – about the age of 6 – with a umbrella. The cabin looked relatively empty in the video, and the on-lookers who were in sight didn’t seem like they’re going to intervene.
Priscilla, did however, add that a guy later stood up to stop her. In turn, the savage lady scolded the man and looked at the little boy while saying “You will kena more once we get home!”.
