A teenage male got into the worst possible situation when he found himself trapped in a burning flat yesterday afternoon.
A fire broke out at a flat along Hougang St 11, where rescuers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) extricated the victim safely from the scene, suffering from smoke inhalation. According to TODAY, the SCDF were alerted to the incident around 3.30pm and despatched a fire engine, two Red Rhinos, two fire bikes, one ambulance and a support vehicle.
