Singapore will be contributing $190,414 to the World Health Organisation to fight Ebola in West and Central Africa.
In a joint statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health, they expressed that Singapore is “deeply concerned about the unprecedented scale of the Ebola outbreak” and that they’ll do their best in supporting the ongoing medical efforts.
In September, the Republic donated an aid package consisting of medicines, medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) to relieve the shortage of such supplies for medical professionals on-ground.
