Gaza relief effort to receive another $127,300 from Singapore UNICEF’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene fund is set to receive further assistance by Singapore in the form of $127,300 to provide clean water and sanitation in Gaza.  According to Channel NewsAsia, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli has pledges an additional amount to the relief efforts in Gaza, after an earlier contribution made in July to the Singapore Red Cross. Reportedly, $1.7 million have been raise in total by Singaporeans towards the aid for Gaza as of Sept. 30.  The minister has also emphasised again Singapore’s commitment to support the Palestinian National Authority, and is “deeply saddened” by the massive number of civilian casualties during the Gaza conflict.  “Singapore believes that this is the only way to achieve a lasting and durable peace between the Palestinian and Israeli people,” he comments.  Photo: Gaza TV News Facebook page   Read Also: You can send money to Gaza via Singapore mosques from Friday Singapore pledges USD100,000 towards humanitarian aid to Gaza
