The story is, Choonyik had told Belle he wanted to take her to prom, but he had a problem: he only wanted to go to prom with his girlfriend. So of course he had to ask her to be his girlfriend first, and of course she said yes. And OF COURSE, most of the conversation was conducted using placards carried by excited friends.
