Singapore Power subsidiary SP Services' changes to electricity tariffs will see households enjoying lower power bills from today through year-end.
Residents will start paying 25.28 cents per kWh of electricity, a 1.6% decrease from the rate of the previous quarter at 25.68 per kWh.
Families living in four-room HDB flats will also see an average decrease of $1.60 in their monthly electricity bill.
Electricity tariff takes into account four factors: energy cost, network cost, the Market Support Services fee, and the Market Administration and Power System Operation fee.
