Famous French-inspired patisserie in Japan Henri Charpentier is opening their first overseas dessert salon in Singapore on Oct. 9.
Located at 9A Dempsey Road, the 4,400 sq. ft. will house an 80-seat dining area (indoors and alfresco), a retail section, as well as a showcase of the brand's historical memorabilia.
According to the official website, the Singapore outlet will flaunt a "sleek, modern finish and touches of deep pink, similar to (the) flagship store in Ginza".
Not only will Henri Charpentier Singapore offer brand signatures such as the Crêpe Suzette ($22), Les Financiers (from $2.90) and Les Madeleines (from $2.90), it also promises exclusive items such as the Tarte Tatin ($18) and the Singapore Botanic Gardens-inspired Flower Temptation ($22), a sugar flower bowl of sautéed pineapple, caramel-flavoured chocolate mousse and dark chocolate mousse flambéed with orange liqueur.
Henri Charpentier at Dempsey will open daily from 11am — 10pm. For more info, visit the official Singapore website.
