![Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay to replace Gallery Hotel by 2016]()
A second Intercontinental Singapore hotel is opening at Robertson Quay in 2016.
According to a press release, the 225-room hotel is part of RB Capital's Robertson Quay Project, which aims to rejuvenate the Singapore River front. It will take over the site where Gallery Hotel is currently standing.
Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay is designed by award-winning firm SCDA Architects. It will boast a contemporary look, with rooms offering views of the River and the city skyline.
The ground floor will house an arrival lobby, concierge services, as well as the hotel's flagship restaurant, while the check-in reception will be on the fourth level along with meeting rooms, function space, a club lounge and bar, as well as a swimming pool.
