Australian chef and restaurateur David Thompson, is set to debut his restaurant Long Chim, in Singapore this year.
Located at Atrium 2 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), Long Chim will span across 6,500 sq. ft. of space and house 150 seats, distributed across a main dining room and three private alcoves.
David Thompson, an expert in Thai cuisine and the owner of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants topper Nahm in Bangkok, will include in the menu dishes such as beef stir friend with holy basil, green curry of beef with roti, grilled mussels with turmeric and coconut and of course, pad thai.
“We are excited to launch Long Chim in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands. Long Chim is all about producing authentic, great tasting street food that is affordable and accessible. We hope Singapore will enjoy what we have to offer,” said David Thompson in a statement.
When it opens, Long Chim will join a slew of other celebrity chef restaurants at MBS, including Daniel Boulud's db Bistro Moderne, and Tetsuya Wakuda's Waku Ghin.
