One of the pioneers of Singapore's artisanal cocktail scene Nektar, has closed down.
The four-year-old bar last operated on Saturday, Sept. 6, but only announced the closure via its Facebook page on Sept. 11.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

The SK-II Boutique Spa, which occupied another colonial bungalow in the same lush Scotts Road enclave, has also moved out to a new space in Shaw Centre.
So far there's been no confirmation on the possibility of Nektar, whose early head bartender Raveen Misra was awarded the Diageo World Class award in 2011, setting up someplace else.
