Starting Sept. 25, travellers can purchase tickets for Air New Zealand-Singapore Airlines codeshare flights that will officially launch on Jan. 6 next year.
Air New Zealand (Air NZ) will operate a daily return service between the Auckland-Singapore route, while Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate between Singapore-Christchurch.
Air NZ fliers will soon get access to an extra 50 destinations, thanks to SIA and its sister airline SilkAir's network across South East Asia, United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa.
Meanwhile, travellers on SIA will have access to almost 40 codeshare destinations from Air NZ's.
Airpoint members of the New Zealand airline will be able to enjoy Airpoint earnings and benefits when travelling with Singapore Airlines. They will also be able to accumulate and redeem Airpoint dollars when the flights officially launch next year.
