Singapore's Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) is among the top 10 in Asia — ninth, to be precise — according to Tripadvisor.
The online booking and reviews platform announced it as part of their 2014 Travellers' Choice Awards, with the top spot going to the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Xi'an, China.
The Tung Sleng Genocide Museum and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, two museums that are extremely rich in history, follow closely behind.
According to users of Tripadvisor, ACM is Singapore's best museum, coming ahead of the National Museum of Singapore (fourth), the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands (fifth) and the Singapore Art Museum (eighth).
ACM director Dr. Alan Chong, has said, "The Asian Civilisations Museum reflects the diverse heritage of Singapore’s people and provides an opportunity for visitors to explore the interconnections between Asian cultures."
