![Police shut down seven-man heist in Changi Airport]()
Seven teenagers believed to be involved in a series of island-wide shop theft cases have been arrested.
According to a press release by the Singapore Police Force, they were suspects in a case involving shop theft at an electronics store located in Changi Airport, where an assortment of gadgets including video cameras and headphones were believed to be stolen earlier in August.
The men, aged between 15 and 18, were apprehended on Aug. 28 following extensive ground enquiries and comprehensive coverage of security cameras within Changi Airport and the items have been recovered from them.
The investigations revealed that the seven suspects worked in groups, operating together in tandem - some acted as look-outs and distracted the staff while the rest committed the theft.
Investigations are on-going to connect their involvement in several other similar cases reported island-wide.
