In a case of unlicensed prostitution-related activity at a flat in Jurong West, one man and three women were arrested on Tuesday night.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, both uniformed and plainclothes police officers were seen working at the scene when reporters arrived at the fifth storey unit – which had since been cordoned off after the arrest.
A man, believed to be Chinese, was brought out of the flat in handcuffs past midnight.
Shortly after, three women – aged between 20 and 30 years old – were escorted away in a police car. They were reportedly on work permits, and paid $3000 per month for the unit for over a year.
