Southeast Asia's foremost jazz pianist Jeremy Monteiro and Europe’s top Hammond-style organist Alberto Marsico are set to perform in a star-studded musical evening at The Star Performing Arts Centre come Sept. 26 and 27.
The duo will be performing a select repertoire of compositions from their upcoming release The Jazz-Blues Brothers along with a troupe of other world-renowned jazz musicians including Eugene Pao on guitars, Shawn Letts on saxophones, Shawn Kelley on drums and Singapore’s most prominent jazz singer Rani Singam.
The upcoming album makes history as the first record originating from Southeast Asia to be released on the legendary Verve Records, home to other jazz legends Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson.
