After making a spectacular audio-visual Singapore debut in Baybeats Music Festival earlier this year, US/Korean electronica outfit Sighborggggg will be making a return appearance here for another evening of wild synth-heavy hits on Sept. 6 thanks to local art and music collective DUNCE.
The duo blends tight multi-instrumentalism - drums, guitars, keyboards and laptops - into their whimsically volatile instrumental tunes, with live performances often described as trippy and hypnotic. Their show at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre has obviously made fans of Singaporeans, and they’re promising an even wilder show at The Lithe Paralogue Studio next week.
Sighborggggg will be supported by noise-rock veterans The Psalms, famed electronic duo .gif and dexterous experimental composer Pixel Apartment. Tickets available at the door at $10 - stay updated on the Facebook event page.
