Young singer-songwriter Joel Tan AKA Gentle Bones burst into prominence in December last year with a string of massively popular singles accompanied by extremely polished music videos, leaving a enduring imprint on the hearts of Singaporean girls everywhere.
Now set to release his debut EP on Aug. 30 at TAB, Gentle Bones has already firmly established himself as the hottest local artiste to watch out for. All three of his released singles “Until We Die”, “Elusive” and “Save Me” have topped Singapore’s iTunes charts, with their accompanying music videos easily going viral on social media.
The independently produced debut EP promises to be a further display of his finesse in well-crafted folk-pop tunes, and from what we’ve heard, it’ll be a grand affair in the launch show with his full band - gang vocals and orchestral segments included. Soul/pop crooner Gareth Fernandez and sultry songstress Samantha Rui will open the show as special guests.
Tickets are available online at $25 and $30 at the door. Stay updated on the Facebook event page.
