Great news for fans of good beer – the grand dame of microbreweries in Singapore, Brewerkz, will be opening a new outlet at Orchard Parade Hotel in July.
With eight taps and the same American food you know well, the latest addition to the group will have a “fresh outlook, distinctive and iconic from the rest of the Brewerkz restaurants”. We’ll have more as soon as the hoarding comes down.
In other Brewerkz news, they’ve also released a new beer – Hoppy Monk – in collaboration with Barcelona brewers BIIR. It’s a 6.8% alcohol by volume abbey-style dark ale brewed with hops from the United States, Germany and Australia as well as Belgian candi sugar. Expect typical dark beer notes like licorice and roasted malt along with a splash of tropical fruit.
