In a note posted June 5 to Facebook, People's Action Party (PAP) Member of Parliament (MP) Inderjit Singh clarifies that while he believes some of the government's polices can be better implemented, he does recognise what the leadership is doing right.
Mr. Singh brought to attention as he did in an earlier post how the quality of life for lower-income citizens can be improved with a higher minimum wage, but he also acknowledged that the government has put in place "many social safety nets in the last three years", which "has generally been helpful".
He also suggested that the Pioneer Generation Package was just the sort of thing they should be doing more of — inclusive policies that discourage discrimination and facilitate diversity.
