Two optical illusion museums from Korea open in Singapore this week.
Jeju's Alive Museum is opening at Suntec City on June 12, while Seoul's Trick Eye Museum opened yesterday at the Resorts World Sentosa.
Both attractions offer the exact same thing: opportunities for you and friends to pose against 2D backdrops that look 3D in photos. The points where you should stand or sit are indicated so you can best maximise your photo op.
Alive will have 70 artworks across three genres digital, object and trick, while Trick Eye boasts more than 50 in themed zones like Safari Kingdom and Stars of Circus. The latter will also have Singapore-exclusive pieces like Horse Racing and Merlion Boat.
Tickets to Alive, which has 14 other outlets around the world, are going for $20 — 25 (same as Trick Eye Museum), but a 10% discount is available for opening week.
The Trick Eye Museum is not the only hot ticket opening at Resorts World Sentosa this year. The Madame Tussauds wax museum brand is also expected to make its mark there this year, as is a host of Korean-themed establishments such as the Insadong Korea Town marketplace.
